Yesterday, I took the boy bowling at Chelsea Piers. Other than the minor detail that he doesn't yet know how to take turns, (and what better way to learn?!), we had a fantastic time.
Price: $8.00 for bowling/$6.00 shoe rental
There were bowling balls that were light enough for him to lift and bumpers along the sides of the lane to prevent 'gutter-ball tears.' There was a little ramp that the boys could put the balls on and push, so much fun! I think the best part was when the manager turned up the dance music and came over and got the kids dancing!
Overall, great for parties, and a wonderful relaxing day teaching the boy new turn-taking skills.
